RE-ORIENT RE-ASSEMBLE – ProjectLAB x PUBLIC PALACE with Merinda Davies

PUBLIC PALACE collaborated with Merinda Davies to present REORIENT REASSEMBLE at 2nd Space (Kabi Kabi Country, Nambour), as part of a Weekend Intensive for the ArtsCoast ProjectLAB. Participants were invited to REORIENT their practice through a series of gently disruptive activities and then REASSEMBLE it through a series of collaborative provocations related to public space and site.
Participants were invited to consider public space as the site and situation for their work by exploring more than human perspectives, sensory reading of immediate surroundings, being in relationship with place and testing new methods of engaging with public space. Together we created a collaborative manifesto to frame the intention and working principles for the Intensive.
